Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Press & Galley ("Press & Galley," "we," "our," or "us"), the pressgalley.com website, and the Press & Galley Amazon Ads optimization service (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must have authority to act on behalf of the Amazon Advertising account you connect to the Service — either your own account or an account you're authorized to manage.

2. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your password. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated.

3. The Service

Press & Galley analyzes your Amazon Ads data and provides recommendations and automation to help optimize your campaigns. You authorize us to access your Amazon Advertising account on your behalf through Amazon's official OAuth flow.

The Service executes changes only as you direct — either through individual approvals or through automation rules you explicitly enable. You remain responsible for your advertising strategy, ad spend, and the content of your campaigns.

4. What you can't do

You agree not to:

5. Subscription and payment

Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you'll retain access until then, and you won't be charged again.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms. If you're dissatisfied with the Service, contact us at hello@pressgalley.com and we'll do our best to resolve the issue.

We may change our pricing. We'll provide at least 30 days' notice of any pricing increase affecting your subscription. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

6. Free trial

If you start a free trial, you get full access to the plan features for the trial period without being charged. At the end of the trial, unless you cancel, you'll be charged the regular subscription fee. We'll email you before the trial ends.

7. Amazon account and responsibility

You remain the owner of your Amazon Advertising account and all associated data. Press & Galley is a tool that operates on your account with your authorization. You are responsible for:

8. No guarantee of results

We design Press & Galley to help authors optimize their Amazon Ads, but we don't guarantee specific outcomes. Advertising performance depends on many factors outside our control — including your books' genre, quality, pricing, cover, reviews, the competitive landscape, and Amazon's algorithms.

Past performance doesn't predict future results. Testimonials and examples are not typical and don't guarantee your results.

9. Intellectual property

Press & Galley and its content (excluding your data) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose while your account is in good standing.

You retain all rights to your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

You can terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account from the dashboard, or by emailing us.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in activity that could harm the Service, our other users, or third parties. We'll provide notice when practical.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We'll delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRESS & GALLEY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $100 USD.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Press & Galley harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [YOUR COUNTY, STATE], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
